Multiplication test term 2

Hello This week we had to re-do the multiplication test that we did at the start of the year to see what improvement we had made. Last time I got a score of 100% and I knew all my  tables. This time my score was 100% again. I'm the times table super star in room 9.

My basic facts for term 2

Hello This week we had to re-do the basic facts test that we did at the start of the year to see what improvement we had made. Last time I got a score of 35 out of 60. This time my score was 58 out of 60. I  moved up to stage 7.

Maths time test

Kia Ora. Here is my time test results. I'm pretty good at my time but I'm going to keep practicing. Now I have worked my way up to Year 7 in time and I'm a year 5 student.

Perception writing

Kia Ora. Miss Dixon read out sentences to us and we had to create an image in our heads in google draw. And then we had to put it on google slides. Then we had to share it with our buddies and they made our drawings into a story.They They were all different.Miss D’s sentences. It was time to take our pedigree for a walk. When we got to the park a scruffy dog came along. The day was hot. The park was empty. It was quiet. So I took the opportunity and the view from the top was incredible.

Reading arguments

Our class has been learning how to write an argument and this is what we did in reading to help us. In this activity we had to use colour-coding to show which title matched which position statement. A position statement is when you say what you believe. This was easy and I was the first one finished.

The Most Delicious Drug.	I believe that no one should be able to have more than two children.
Cats Are Better Pets Than Dogs.	I believe that dairy farmers are not doing enough to prevent pollution of waterways on their land.
All Prime Ministers of New Zealand Should Be Female.	I believe that homework should be banned.

Two Child Families.	I believe that future Prime Ministers of NZ should all be female.
Dairy Farmers Pollute Waterways.	I believe that cats make better pets than dogs.
