TITLE
Yuk yuk yuk!
QUESTION.

If we mix vinegar and baking soda will we observe some kind of reaction?
THESIS.
Vinegar tastes sour and it is a liquid. Baking soda is a solid, soft white powder and it tastes salty and horrible. They are both food substances but based on their different taste, they must be chemically different. So, if they are mixed together, there might be a chemical reaction.
HYPOTHESIS.
We predict that when we mix vinegar with baking soda an observable chemical reaction will occur. We might see and hear and explosion, fire, foaming, bubbles, fizzing or something else. The resulting mixture might look and taste difference in the size of the materials.

EQUIPMENT
AND MATERIALS:
Baking soda
Vinegar
Container for mixing
Teaspoon for mixing
PROCEDURE
  1. Pour some vinegar into a container to a depth of about 2cm.
  2. Use a teaspoon to measure in half teaspoon of baking soda.
  3. Mix with teaspoon.
  4. Observe and record what happens.
  5. Yuk taste
OBSERVATIONS:
At step 2 the mixture started to fizz, A fizzing sound was heard, bubbles were seen to   appear in the mixture and the materials rose higher in the container.
At step 3, when the materials were mixed, even more bubbles appeared and the volume of the materials in the container rose even higher.
At step 5 when the mixture was tasted, the taste was unpleasant and was similar to  baking soda.

ANALYSIS
AND
CONCLUSION
The goal of this experiment was to see if an observable reaction would take place when vinegar and baking soda were mixed together. The result of our experiment proves that our hypothesis was correct. We predicted that there would be an observable reaction, and there was. There was lots of foaming and fizzing happening and bubbles appeared which means a gas must have been produced. A quick check online showed us that the gas was carbon dioxide.

All blacks are the best team ever.

I believe that the All Blacks are the best Rugby team….

Firstly we have to remember the first team ever selected in 1884 to play in NSW. From that year on the All Blacks have won all over the world. We keep winning because we play to the whistle and train hard, because of that the All Blacks have become the `first ever team to win 3 RWC and  the first to win back to back World Cups. The countries they won the world cup in were NZ, Australia and England.

Over the years there have been over 1100 people chosen to be an All Black. Some of our greatest are Richie McCaw who played his 22nd RWC game in the final in 2015 to lead his team to victory, equalling with Jason Leonard as the joint most capped player in tournament history.
Julian Savea scored eight tries at this World Cup and equalled Jonah Lomu (1999) and Bryan Habana (2007) for the most tries in a single edition of the tournament. They scored those tries because the forwards done their job so the backs could get them into space to score the try.
Did you know that I have 2 great uncles who were All Blacks? Kawhena and Fred Woodman - I hope I can join them one day to be an All Black.
Other greats include Colin Meads, Sean Fitzpatrick, John Kirwan, Michael Jones, the Going brothers from Northland and many more.

What makes a great All Black? Dedication, training, a team player, agility, speed and strength.
Can’t wait for the
lions v All blacks game.

So, I’m sure you will agree with me that the All Blacks are the best team because All blacks are the first team win 3 RWC and first to win back to back RWC.
