Bam!! I whipped Neo. He finally started to trot away and we all yelled “Hooray Neo hooray.” We started to head out for a magnificent day in the bush. As we arrived at our destination we all settled down and had some delicious food, it tasted so good I nearly fainted for it. We carried on like a bunch of crazy hyenas running for some tasty prey. Owww Carlos got bucked by the horse and  fell on the rock. We all stopped and helped him up we had a few bandages, we put them where he was bleeding. As the day carried on we all put our horses in the float and went home in our Holden Colorado.

Have you ever failed a trick before? As the two amazing motor bike riders zoomed in the air to do a backflip. The wind whistled to me. They look like birds doing tricks in the air one of them landed and one of them didn’t she failed. The boy was Carlos and the girl that failed was called Aliah  who was an Italian. Carlos was from New Zealand. People ran from the crowd to help her. They took her to the hospital.
The end.

“Blow over” yelled the half back. The half back passed the ball to a prop to bowl over the opposition like a bowling ball. The grass waved at the player from everywhere. The other forwards clean out. The No. 9 goes to his backs I catch the ball and through the hands it goes. Have you ever got tackled before? Cause I know I have.
Now it’s the backs turn to blow over the half back calls P.I.G the lock takes it. Where in their danger zone now. “Out to the back” I yelled. I catch the ball and I got smashed over like a conversion kick. I placed the ball back and the loose forward Lukas scored the try.

Recount 2017 Term 2

Kia OraThis week we did a recount about something we've done before. Our focus this week was similies, metaphors and personification. The highlighted words are my good examples about my writing. See if you can find some good thing too.Ka kite ano.

Yahoo!!! “Dad get up it’s Sunday, Nitro Circus is today.” My dad and I got drinks and some snacks ready to go. The car roared like a lion. Out the driveway we go. When we got to Whangarei we had lunch at Burger King. After that we headed out to Onerahi where my aunty lives, that's where my uncle and cousins were waiting. Yuss!! It’s time we went to the stadium and, “Whoa, look at that line of people” I yelled impatiently. We parked up and waited in line. We got inside and me and my dad ran like cheetahs to the merchandise shop and we bought a jersey for me. We quickly found our seats before it started. The motorbikes linedup ready to flip like gymnasts. The motorbikes went soaring through the air like an eagle. Now the scooters were ready to go down the mega ramp. They went down, the scooter did a tailwhip like a dog chasing it’s tail. This guy on roller blades went down the mega ramp as fast as a man eating tiger. Bruce Cook was told he wouldn't get back on his motor bike again, but he didn’t listen and upgraded his bike so everything was on the handle bars. He got on his motorbike and did a backflip and landed it. Three people got picked out of the shouting crowd. They got motor bike gears on, they all hopped on the motor bike and went up this ramp and landed a backwards flip. The motor bikes had to follow the leader but upside down like screaming monkeys. When they finished their flips and tricks they did wheelies like horses bucking them off.Me and my dad had a great time at the Nitro Circus.

Kararehe 2017 Maori pronounceiation.

Kia Ora
Today we did a screencastify about Maori Creatures. First we chose some animals and we had to go on to google translate and find out the Maori word for that creature, then we had to practise the pronunciation and then we videoed ourselves, so here is our screencastify.
